Transport:
Do we need to book taxis or work out the train route between Abney Park Chapel and The Hackney?
Have you got a theme, or a dress code? Tell me what to wear, please!
We want you to feel your absolute best, whatever that looks like for you. We're aiming for cocktail dress, but please don't let that hold you back! We've heard there are already a few hats in the mix, and we're so here for it, though they're absolutely not expected. Whatever feels like you! If you fancy leaning into our colour palette of pinks, oranges, blues and burgundies, we would love that. But most of all, we just can't wait to see you!
Gifting:
Your presence on our wedding day is the greatest gift we could ask for. Having made our house a home over the past eighteen months, we're lucky to have most of what we need. So, if you'd like to give us something, we'd be so grateful for a contribution towards the future we're excited to build: our honeymoon and the family we hope to grow. No pressure whatsoever - having you with us is more than enough!
I'm not planning on booking a hotel; what is the public transport like from The Hackney?
Be sure to check the route for your specific journey, but here are some timings of the last trains: from Cambridge Heath for northbound connections (00:40), from Finsbury Park to Welwyn etc. (01:13), from St Pancras International to St Albans etc. (01:44). As we're due to leave The Hackney by 11:30pm at the latest, there should be no problem with travelling home for guests who live more locally.

Good question, and for now we'll cryptically say: don't worry about it! We've organised transport between the venues, so as long as you follow the crowd, we'll get you from A to B! There are plenty of teachers between us, so we'll be sure to headcount to avoid leaving anyone behind. We're really excited about this part of the day and can't wait to share it with you!
